Role: Senior Scientist, Biostatistics within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division, focusing on supporting clinical trial and development studies with evolving supervision. Responsibilities: design and analyze research studies, interpret and communicate data evidence, optimize study designs, and collaborate cross-functionally with Quantitative Sciences & Clinical Pharmacology teams. Apply advanced statistical methods, including data-adaptive approaches and AI, to address complex project needs. Support regulatory commitments, contribute to publications, and represent the statistical function in various teams. Requirements: Ph.D. or Master’s in Statistics or related field; proficient in R, SAS, and Python; demonstrated experience in biopharmaceutical research, R&D strategies, and regulatory standards; experience in clinical trial design, analysis, and reporting. Preferred: experience with specific therapeutic areas, modalities (biologics, small molecules, cell/gene therapies), or clinical phases; strong communication skills; ability to lead projects independently. High-Value: develops statistical analysis for clinical development, supports regulatory submissions, and engages in process improvement. Work setup: on-site at one of the specified US locations (Spring House PA, Titusville NJ, Raritan NJ, San Diego CA, or Cambridge MA); no remote option; travel as needed.
