Senior Scientist, Bioinformatics / Computational Biology

Role: Computational biologist specializing in multi-omics, comparative genomics, and AI to support vaccine and immune therapy development. Responsibilities: design and execute analyses of genomics, transcriptomics, and multi-omics data; assemble genomes, call variants, perform phylogenetic analyses to inform antigen selection; apply machine learning to discover biomarkers, predict immunogenicity, and stratify patients; develop reproducible workflows on HPC and cloud platforms; create LLM-powered agentic workflows for literature mining and pipeline orchestration; generate biological insights, visualizations, and reports; collaborate with immunologists, molecular biologists, and data scientists to refine study designs and accelerate discovery. Requirements: PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or related field with 2-5 years industry experience, or MS with 4-6 years; proficiency in R/Python, NGS data analysis (e.g., BWA, GATK), statistical computing, HPC/cloud platforms; experience with bioinformatics databases, workflow managers (Nextflow), and machine learning; strong analytical, communication, and collaborative skills.
