Senior Scientist, Antibody Discovery

Role: Senior Scientist in Discovery Biologics focusing on antibody discovery via in vivo immunization and single-cell platforms. Objectives: design and lead high-throughput antibody discovery campaigns, optimize workflows, and advance antibody candidates. Responsibilities: execute single B-cell discovery using 10x Genomics V(D)J workflows, improve operational efficiency, represent the group on multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to scientific visibility. Requirements: BS with 7+ years, MS with 4+ years, or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, or related; extensive hands-on experience with single-cell antibody platforms, cell culture, molecular biology, high-throughput screening, and flow cytometry; proven antibody discovery expertise using in vivo immunization approaches; strong collaboration and project management skills; external scientific engagement. Preferred: experience with NGS data, antibody campaign management. High-value biopharma specifics: antibody discovery, single-cell platforms, in vivo immunization, biologics, relevant to therapeutic antibody development. Location: South San Francisco; no travel requirements.
