Clinical Research and Development
What You’ll Do
- Develop and optimize antibody bioconjugation methods for attaching degrader payloads and linkers.
- Design conjugation chemistry for automation: define protocols, reagent ratios, and process parameters transferable to liquid-handling platforms.
- Execute one-off and scale-up conjugation runs (mg to multi-mg) for pharmacology, PK/PD, and other studies.
- Purify conjugates (FPLC/AKTA, TFF, column chromatography); troubleshoot yield, homogeneity, and stability.
- Write SOPs and technical reports; train/support automation-team colleagues to run workflows independently.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry, and external CROs/CDMOs; stay current on bioconjugation and DAC/ADC methods.

Who You Are
- Cross-disciplinary team player with clear communication.
- Results-oriented; drives methods from first attempt to robust, transferable protocols; delivers study material.
- Comfortable owning a technical area with autonomy.

Qualifications
- PhD in chemistry/biochemistry/chemical biology (preferred) or MS/BS with substantial hands-on industry bioconjugation experience (8+ for BS/MS).
- Hands-on antibody/protein conjugation experience: NHS ester/maleimide coupling; click chemistry (CuAAC/SPAAC/IEDDA); engineered-cysteine or glycan/enzymatic site-specific conjugation; or unnatural-amino-acid approaches.
- Experience purifying/characterizing conjugates (FPLC/AKTA, TFF, SEC, IEX, RP-HPLC/UPLC, HIC; LC-MS DAR/identity).
- Experience preparing protocols for automated/semi-automated execution (Hamilton/Tecan) is a strong plus.

Compensation
- Salary range: 155K–180K plus bonus and equity.
