Senior Scientist, Analytical Development

Role: Senior Scientist, Analytical Development overseeing method development for biologics/vaccine programs, with a focus on process optimization, troubleshooting, and technical leadership. Responsibilities include designing and driving analytical strategies, leading complex investigations, authoring technical documents, and mentoring team members. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure assay robustness and alignment with regulatory standards, managing laboratory operations, and overseeing analytical testing using techniques such as HPLC, SEC, ELISA, and mass spectrometry. Requirements: PhD with 5+ years, MS with 8+ years, or BS with 10+ years in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related fields, with extensive hands-on experience in analytical techniques and method development. Preferred skills include deep expertise in analytical chemistry, troubleshooting complex assay issues, data analysis, and documentation rigor. High-value specifics: biologics/vaccine development, regulatory compliance, GxP, and onsite in San Carlos, CA, with a minimum of 4 days per week onsite. The position reports to the Associate Director, Analytical Development.
