Senior Scientist, Analytical Chemistry

Role: Senior Scientist in Analytical Chemistry supporting pharmaceutical quality control. Objectives: develop, validate, transfer, and troubleshoot analytical methods (primarily LC and GC) for drug substances, excipients, and dosage forms to ensure compliance with cGMP, USP/EP standards, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: perform physical and chemical analyses of raw materials and products, support stability studies, calibrate instruments, provide training, evaluate new analytical technologies, and lead projects within the Analytical Group. Qualifications: BS in chemistry or related field with 5+ years (or MS with 4+ years) pharmaceutical experience; in-depth knowledge of analytical techniques such as spectrophotometry, chromatography, dissolution testing, and physical property measurements; hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, FTIR, TLC, MS, and method validation; proven ability to troubleshoot complex analytical issues and ensure data integrity. Preferred: advanced degree (MS/MA), extensive GMP laboratory testing experience, and experience with regulatory documentation.
