Role: Senior Scientist in Allogeneic T-Cell Therapy Process Development, focused on supporting the clinical manufacturing process development of CAR-T and TCR-T products. Responsibilities: conduct hands-on cell culture, gene editing, expansion, and characterization of human primary T cells; independently design, execute, analyze, and document process studies; lead troubleshooting and optimization efforts; collaborate cross-functionally with Process Development, Analytical, Manufacturing, and Quality teams for tech transfer and regulatory preparation; mentor junior scientists and contribute to regulatory filings and publications. Requirements: BS in Biochemical/Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, with >6 years (or MS with β₯4 years, PhD with β₯1 year) relevant experience; skilled in human T cell culture, flow cytometry, genome editing (CRISPR/Cas9), transfection, and cell characterization techniques; strong experimental design, troubleshooting, data analysis, and scientific writing skills. Preferred: immunology knowledge, viral transduction, GMP experience, advanced cell characterization methods, and familiarity with DOE. High-Value: focus on allogeneic CAR-T/TCR-T cell therapies, process development, tech transfer to cGMP environment, and cross-functional collaboration in a cutting-edge biotech setting. Work Setup: based in Gaithersburg, MD, with potential domestic and international travel.
