What You'll Do
- Perform routine in-vitro ADME assays.
- Plan, perform, and report in vitro metabolism ADME studies for discovery and development stage compounds.
- Participate in experimental design; perform experiments; critically analyze, interpret, and report data to design next steps.
- Complete high-impact and high-throughput studies in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects to meet timelines.
- Establish new ADME assays and contribute to continuous improvement of current assays.
- Guide junior scientists.
- Assist in data analysis and interpretation.
- Provide laboratory support (ordering, equipment calibration/validation) and work in accordance with the Quality System.
- Work with Project Managers to meet client requirements.
- Assist in running and maintaining robotic systems to support processes.
- Perform quality review of peer data; consolidate assay control and validation criteria.

Who You Are
- PhD in a relevant scientific field (Ph.D. preferred) with experience in contract research organizations, pharmaceutical industries, or academia; or Master’s with 6+ years of experience.
- Equivalent education/experience may be accepted.
- Industry/academic experience in DM/PK with a record of scientific achievement.
- Experience in drug discovery/development.
- Broad understanding of ADME, in vitro drug metabolism, and DDI.
- Knowledge of bioanalytical sciences including LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, biotransformation, and physical organic chemistry.
- Experience in cell-based or biochemical assays.
- Excellent oral and written communication; strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate across levels, manage time, and work independently.

Desirable
- Plate-based screening; cell culture experience; LC-MS/MS experience.
