Senior Scientist 1, Neuroscience

Role: Senior Scientist I in Neuroscience at Eikon Therapeutics, focused on identifying and validating therapeutic targets for Parkinson’s disease. Responsibilities include developing cellular models, biochemical and cell-based assays, executing experiments with primary neurons, iPSC-derived neurons, and glia, and supporting target validation and mechanism-of-action studies. The role involves collaboration across disciplines such as molecular biology, pharmacology, and medicinal chemistry, with opportunities to mentor junior team members and contribute to scientific publications and grants. Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience in Neuroscience, Cell Biology, or Biochemistry; proficiency in cell culture (including primary neurons and glia), biochemical techniques, confocal microscopy, and enzymology; experience with iPSC-derived cells and co-culture models preferred.
