Clinical Research and Development
The Senior Research Statistician, Statistics provides statistical support to the research and development organization (including clinical trials, patient safety, and global medical affairs).

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to design, analysis, and reporting of clinical trials or other scientific research.
- Assist with development of protocols and/or statistical analysis plans (including safety plans/integrated summary/analysis plans for GMA evidence generation) with programming implementation details.
- Work under supervision to develop strategy for data presentation and inference; implement statistical methodology; perform analyses per the analysis plan.
- Assist with identifying scientifically appropriate data collection instruments.
- Identify and report data issues or study assumption violations.
- Provide programming specifications for derived variables and analysis datasets; collaborate with Statistical Programming to deliver quality outputs on timelines.
- Collaborate with Data Science for database lock.
- Evaluate software appropriateness for planned analyses; assess needs for novel statistical methodology.
- Ensure appropriate interpretation of statistical deliverables.
- Support publication of scientific research; ensure statistical component accuracy and internal consistency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally; explain statistical concepts to non-statisticians.
- (PULSEcheck) Develop/validate/document reusable statistical modules and QC assets using reproducible programming (version control, traceability, cross-study reusability, GxP).
- (PULSEcheck) Contribute hands-on to AI-enabled scientific computing (workflow design, evaluation, human-in-the-loop, documentation, testing, safeguards).
- (PULSEcheck) Translate stakeholder needs into practical solutions; incorporate feedback; support adoption via documentation/training.

Qualifications:
- MS (4+ years) or PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics or related field.

Required skills:
- Technical competence and effective oral/written communication.
- Ability to perform statistical computations and simulations.
- Ability to identify data/analytical issues and help solve them (or seek support).
- Build relationships with peers and cross-functional partners; motivated to drive innovation.
