Senior Research Associate, Oligonucleotide Chemistry

Role: Senior Scientist overseeing oligonucleotide synthesis and purification processes to support platform research and preclinical activities at Tessera Therapeutics. Responsibilities: perform small-scale, high-throughput guide RNA production, optimize synthetic and purification methods for scalable manufacturing, collaborate with internal manufacturing teams during process transfer, and contribute to cross-functional team projects. Requirements: BS/MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or related, with 3+ (MS) or 5+ (BS) years of industry experience in oligonucleotide processing; hands-on expertise with Mermade192 and Mermade12 synthesizers; experience with HPLC purification; strong troubleshooting and documentation skills. Preferred: familiarity with Äkta100 synthesizer, enzymatic ligation, ELNs, and broader oligonucleotide research stages.
