Job Summary
Senior Research Associate (full-time laboratory position based in Lexington, MA). Develop and perform bioanalytical methods for preclinical and clinical programs; document methods, interpret, and summarize data. Report into the Bioanalytical Scientist; responsible for development, qualification, and bio-analysis for non-regulated methods and samples supporting drug candidate development.

Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, optimize, and execute bioanalytical assays for nonclinical studies (PK, PD, biomarkers, ADA/immunogenicity).
- Execute ligand-binding and cell-based assays; ensure robust assay performance, data quality, and compliance with applicable guidelines.
- Identify and develop novel bioanalytical approaches to answer scientific questions supporting drug discovery and development.
- Collaborate with external vendors to transfer primarily ELISA/ECL-based PK, ADA, and biomarker assays.
- Perform internal testing of preclinical samples.
- Other duties as required by study needs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, biotechnology, or related field; 4–6+ years relevant experience in an industrial pharmaceutical/biotechnology lab.
- Hands-on experience with PK and ADA/immunoassay development and statistical data analysis.
- Familiarity with FDA guidelines for bioanalytical methods.
- Biomarker methods experience (ELISA, MSD, Luminex) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, data interpretation, and written/verbal communication/documentation.
- Ability to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment; strong teamwork and willingness to learn.

Compensation
- Potential base pay range: $74,000β€”$99,000 USD.
