Senior Research Associate, Functional Genomics

Role: Senior Research Associate in the In Vivo Functional Genomics Team at Arc Institute, focusing on large-scale immune system perturbation screens in mice and NHP models to understand cellular circuits and their roles in neuro-immune interactions and diseases like Alzheimer's. Responsibilities: execute and troubleshoot in vivo genomic screens; isolate immune cells, perform single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, clone libraries, produce viral vectors, operate NGS platforms; analyze complex data sets; support lab operations and scientific communication. Requirements: BS/MS in biology, neuroscience, or genetics; 4-5+ years (BS) or 2+ years (MS) relevant experience; expertise in molecular biology, single-cell genomics, tissue dissociation, flow cytometry, and cell culture. Preferred: library cloning, animal handling, data analysis with Python/R. High-Value: in vivo CRISPR screens, immunology, neuroscience, neuro-immune axis, single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, NGS, and complex data interpretation.
