Senior Research Associate

Role: Research Associate/Sr. Research Associate in Preclinical Research at Cabaletta Bio, supporting the development of cell therapies for autoimmune diseases through in vitro and ex vivo assays. Responsibilities include maintaining and generating cell lines (including primary cells and lentivirus-mediated suspension cells), performing cytotoxicity and flow cytometry assays, executing IND-enabling experiments, and contributing to process improvements. Qualifications: MS in Biology or Bioengineering with 0-3 years, or Bachelor's with 2+ years biotech industry experience; strong mammalian cell culture skills; aseptic technique proficiency; highly organized with excellent record-keeping. Preferred: experience with primary and iPSC-derived cells; familiarity with flow cytometry; industry or startup biotech background. High-Value: focus on cell therapy, autoimmune indications, early-stage preclinical work, cGMP compliance, and lab automation. Collaboration/reporting: reporting to Senior Scientist, Cellular Immunology. Work setup: On-site in Philadelphia, PA, with potential support for cross-functional activities.
