Role Summary

Senior Research Associate, Biology on the Research team to help expand what’s possible for patients with serious diseases. Work with a multidisciplinary team to investigate therapeutics for neutrophil-mediated diseases across several pre-clinical projects, performing cell culture, in vitro assays, ex vivo processing, and various molecular biology techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Culture primary cells and continuous cell lines to support in vitro/ex vivo experiments
  • Perform in vitro assays, including compound screening and enzymatic assays; prepare formulations for in vivo studies
  • Support ex vivo sample receipt, processing, and preparation for downstream analyses
  • Perform molecular/cellular biology techniques, including flow cytometry, ELISA, and Western blotting
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation (e.g., plate readers, fluorescence microscopy)
  • Analyze and interpret data using Excel, XLfit, FlowJo, and GraphPad Prism
  • Maintain documentation of procedures and results via an electronic laboratory notebook
  • Summarize outcomes and prepare presentations in PowerPoint
  • Draft, review, and contribute to technical reports and study documentation; present findings in internal meetings
  • Prepare and maintain reagents, buffers, and materials to support assays
