About The Role
Senior Research Associate on the Research Development Laboratory team supporting discovery and development campaigns focused on next-generation biotherapies for serious unmet medical needs.
What You’ll Do
- Design, execute, and optimize molecular biology experiments to support lead candidate selection
- Validate and perform DNA-based assays (DNA purification, PCR, Quality and Quantification of DNA)
- Culture mammalian cell lines and conduct transient transfections for protein expression
- Culture bacterial cell lines and conduct protein expression and purification
- Interact and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance the project
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely records
Who You Are
- Master’s degree in Molecular Biology (or related field) OR Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology (or related field) with minimum 2 years of experience
You Are Or You Also Have
- Hands-on experience with routine molecular biology methods including plasmid cloning, PCR, and DNA isolation and protein expression
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Nice To Have (but Not Required)
- Strongly preferred: tissue culture, protein purification, enzyme assay, gel electrophoresis, flow cytometry
- Desirable: SNAPgene, GraphPad Prism/Excel, and relevant scientific software
- Desirable: library preparation for NGS; DNA/RNA quality and quantification (TapeStation, Qubit)
- Desirable: protein binding kinetics assays (BLI, SPR, ELISA)
Where You’ll Work / Travel / Pay
- New Hampshire Research Development Laboratory; full-time, in-person presence; minimal travel
- Pay range: $80,000.00–$102,000.00 annual
