POSITION SUMMARY:
- Collaboratively design and execute assays; perform data analysis requiring evaluation of variable factors.
- Exercise independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria.
- Begin taking a central role in developing timelines for project objectives.
- Stay current on publications relevant to research methods/techniques and report how new learnings can be integrated.
- Network with colleagues outside one’s expertise.
- Carry out a variety of experiments within the area of focus.
KEY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments independently.
- Generate, maintain, and review electronic lab notebook reports.
- Collaborate internally to interpret, interrogate, and troubleshoot data; troubleshoot analytical methods and equipment.
- Complete research, experiments, and assignments that impact functional goals.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- BS in biotechnology, molecular biology, microbiology, immunology, oncology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with cell-based assays—specifically cytokine release and cytotoxicity assays.
- Excellent sterile and cell culture technique working with human cells.
- Experience with one or more cell-based assay platforms: Ella, MSD, xCelligence, Incucyte.
- Minimum 1 year experience in 6+ color flow cytometry.
- Ability to analyze data and interpret results with minimal supervisor guidance.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with MACSQuant or Lyric instruments.
- Experience in data production and reporting for IND-enabling studies.
- Experience with CAR T cell data and analysis.
- Exposure to molecular biology protocols (e.g., VCN).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Basic knowledge of human immunology.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis software (Prism, FlowJo, Spotfire, Geneious, etc.).
- Effectively communicate and discuss results with other scientists.
- Ability to work in a matrixed environment.
- Comfortable learning new software and automated lab equipment.

- Salary range: $95,000 to $118,000 annually; opportunity for an annual bonus.
