Position Summary
Senior Research AI Scientist to partner with discovery, translational, clinical, computational, and portfolio teams to design, evaluate, and operationalize reusable AI-enabled capabilities for high-priority scientific needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify high-value AI research opportunities and translate them into AI-tractable specifications with measurable success criteria.
- Architect, build, and operationalize agentic/multi-agent workflows for tasks such as target evidence assembly, indication rationale, biomarker interpretation, translational synthesis, evidence triangulation, and decision support.
- Design reusable AI capabilities (agentic frameworks, evaluation harnesses, MCP tool integrations, prompt/policy libraries) for multi-program adoption.
- Establish rigorous evaluation for outputs and data/tool quality (benchmarks, rubrics, grounding checks, uncertainty, provenance, reproducibility, monitoring, failure-mode analysis).
- Operate with urgency and tight feedback loops; converge on working artifacts and pivot based on evidence.
- Partner with engineering, data, IT, security, legal, vendors, and platform teams on governance, integration, productionization, and scaling.
- Communicate opportunities/risks/evaluation results; contribute to standards, reference implementations, and documentation.

Basic Qualifications
- BS and 7+ years, or MS and 5+ years, or PhD and 2+ years in computational biology/bioinformatics/genetics/biology/chemistry/pharma sciences/data science/scientific computing or related.

Preferred Qualifications
- Track record translating scientific questions into reusable AI workflows/tools/evaluations/decision support.
- Hands-on modern AI/LLMs: agentic workflows, multi-agent orchestration, GraphRAG, scaled tool use, MCP.
- Experience building rigorous evaluation frameworks (curated benchmarks, expert standards, rubrics, calibration/uncertainty, regression gating).
- Fluency in drug research domain; experience with knowledge graphs/ontologies/evidence/disease/gene/target models and graph reasoning over biomedical evidence.
- Urgency/tight iteration; engineering judgment for reuse/extension/productionization.

Benefits (explicitly listed)
- Health Coverage; Wellbeing Support; 401(k) and insurance benefits (short/long-term disability, life, accident, supplemental health, etc.).
- Paid Time Off and Global Shutdown (as described).
