Senior Reagent Quality Control Specialist - Molecular

Role: Senior Reagent QC Specialist- Molecular, leading QC activities for molecular reagents in a regulated lab environment. Responsibilities: perform advanced QC testing (NGS, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, methylation analysis), ensure regulatory compliance (CLIA, CAP, NYS, FDA, ISO), review reagent documentation, troubleshoot discrepancies, lead process improvements, and mentor QC staff. Requirements: Bachelor’s in a scientific field; 3-4 years’ regulated lab experience; proficiency in QC procedures, molecular techniques, and documentation practices. Preferred: advanced degrees, HT/HTL (ASCP) or QIHC certification, experience with electronic QMS, root cause analysis, and automation. High-Value: molecular testing, NGS, DNA/RNA analysis, reagent validation, process optimization, compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Work setup: on-site with periodic travel; may require after-hours, weekends, holidays, and handling biohazards.
