Operations
Responsibilities
- Champion Takeda Project Management Methodology (PMM) and PMO processes; support Project Portfolio Life Cycle Management (LCM).
- Monitor project/portfolio performance; use PM tools to drive interventions and problem solving.
- Review phase-gate deliverables for quality/readiness.
- Train/coach project teams, sponsors, and steering committees on PM best practices/tools.
- Improve PM processes using lessons learned and KPIs.
- Lead cross-functional teams through full project lifecycle to deliver scope, schedule, budget, quality, and compliance.
- Manage planning/controls: resources, costs, schedules, risk mitigation, communications, documentation.
- Proactively adjust plans, escalate risks, remove barriers; maintain stakeholder alignment and provide status/escalations.
Time Allocation
- 60% Project Management; 10% PMO/Governance Support; 10% Program Strategy Support; 10% Training/Development/Site Activities; 10% Flex/Other Duties.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs in science/engineering/related technical field (preferred).
- 10+ years leading complex cross-functional technical projects (process/equipment/commissioning-validation/infrastructure/facilities/utilities/IT/digital).
- 5+ years PM experience in pharma/biotech (cGMP).
Skills (Required/Preferred)
- PMP preferred; Lean/Six Sigma preferred.
- Strong multi-project management using formal PM methodologies.
- cGMP/regulatory environment experience; knowledge of GxP, FDA, ISPE, GAMP, ASTM E2500.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Project, Teams, PowerBI; Ariba/SAP/Veeva/TrackWise a plus.
- Excellent communication/facilitation; influence without direct authority; strategic problem-solving.
