Role: Senior Program Manager, CMC Portfolio Management, overseeing development and maintenance of CMC project plans for Product Presentation & Device Strategy Teams in biopharma drug development. Main objectives include supporting decision-making, ensuring project alignment, and enabling cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Operations, and Commercial teams. Responsibilities encompass leading complex drug development projects (early to late stage, including device aspects), managing CMC technical plans via AMP, and facilitating program reviews through timeline management and scenario planning. The role involves leading team meetings, driving accountability, identifying risks, and implementing process improvements. The candidate will support organizational knowledge sharing and mentor junior staff, applying advanced project management principles to optimize project delivery. Collaboration extends to external stakeholders and cross-functional teams, with influence across global teams. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 8+ years of industry experience, or advanced degrees with proportionate experience; PMP or LEAN Six Sigma certifications are preferred. A minimum of 2 years in project management leadership within pharma/biotech, with knowledge of drug development processes, is required. CMC experience and proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Spotfire, etc.) are highly desirable. The role is based in a hybrid or onsite setting, with potential for cross-functional interaction and strategic leadership within the Development Sciences organization.
