Role Summary
The Senior Product Manager (SPM) will lead development and implementation of the comprehensive Peer to Peer/Key Customer Marketing activities for gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma indication launch for a first in class HER2 targeted bispecific agent, including its current biliary tract cancer (BTC) indication. Specifically, the SPM will focus on developing the Peer-to-Peer plan and Key Customer Marketing execution, managing cross-functional agencies and teams, and driving product adoption across FDA-approved indications as a core member of the Oncology Franchise.
Responsibilities
- Take a central role in pull-through of pre and post-launch strategies specifically through promotional scientific narrative.
- Develop and implement unbranded and branded Peer-to-Peer speaker decks and supportive resources that help establish the value of the drug.
- Manage Speaker Bureau(s) β including leading LIVE Speaker Training.
- Lead National and Regional Congress marketing efforts to execute on booths, sponsorships and supportive resources.
- Manage several key vendors, including being the point of contact for the primary Medical Communications agency.
- Establish a strong partnership with PMRC and business operations teams.
- Establish a strong relationship with the sales team and other field-based commercial teams to ensure optimal execution of peer-to-peer programs and congress presence.
- Lead coordination and planning of PMRC reviews relating to applicable work; responsible for applicable HCP marketing budget management, including managing work orders, accrual process, applicable forecast lines; work with cross-functional teams including commercial services and finance department, as needed.
- Demonstrate the ability to quickly understand complex markets, disease states, competitive landscapes and relevant market and managed care dynamics.
- Ensure strategic and tactical plans meet compliance and regulatory guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of marketing (or related commercial) experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry is required.
- Launch experience is preferred.
- Oncology experience is preferred.
- Sales experience is preferred.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and demonstrated cross-functional collaboration.
- Must demonstrate good judgement and evidence of good analytical, problem solving, strategic thinking, planning, and project management skills.
- Approximately 30-40% travel is required.
Education
- Bachelorβs Degree (life sciences or a related discipline a plus).
- An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
