Senior Product Engineer in AMTPP

Role: Senior Product Engineer for AMTPP (Automotive Bonding and Sealing) within 3M's Product Engineering organization, focusing on advancing bonding and sealing products for automotive applications. Responsibilities include leading programs to enhance quality, reduce costs, qualify alternative supply sources, and expand product offerings; managing key Change Management Projects; supporting development and launch of new and existing products such as Structural Bonding Tapes, Weatherstrip Tapes, and Acrylic Foam Tapes; and assisting with customer complaint resolution and process understanding. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of product or process engineering experience in private, public, government, or military sectors; experience in tape materials, adhesives, coating, radiation, or extrusion processes, and familiarity with regulated product categories. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees in Materials, Polymer, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering, along with 5+ years of relevant experience, especially with pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes and acrylic chemistry.
