Core Responsibilities
- Elevate and maintain design standards across digital products and patient-facing experiences.
- Bring craft across typography, motion, copy, composition, and art direction.
- Use component-based design systems (follow patterns and know when to break constraints).
- Present and communicate design rationale; incorporate feedback; build trust with collaborators.
- Show accountability, flexibility, initiative, and efficient prioritization.
- Stay current on industry trends/tools; contribute to critique/collaboration culture.
- Deliver high-quality UI/UX across features, flows, and system-driven experiences.
- Improve clarity, hierarchy, and interaction quality for patient-facing surfaces.
- Support design system adoption with product/engineering to deliver.
- Produce polished UX/UI work from research synthesis to delivery.
- Reframe ambiguous briefs, identify the real opportunity, and align before execution.
- Informally mentor junior designers via critique/shared sessions.
- Own visual quality (typography, color, composition, motion) and evolve system components/patterns.
- Deliver production-ready assets for web, mobile, and other digital formats.

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design (Digital Design/Interaction Design/Visual Communication/HCI or related).
- 3+ years’ product/UX/visual design experience for digital products/experiences (or HS/GED + 3+ years equivalent).
- Exceptional portfolio.

- Excellent verbal/written communication.
- Collaborative approach; constructive conflict navigation.
- Strong visual craft (type/grid/composition/color) plus core UX ability (flows/interaction/problem framing).
