Senior Privileged Access Management Engineer (Cyber Security Engineer)

Role: Senior cyber security specialist focusing on Privileged Access Management (PAM) at Moderna, primarily managing the CyberArk platform to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant privileged access controls across cloud and on-premises environments. Responsibilities: own the design, configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of CyberArk solutions; collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, support onboarding, and integrate PAM into infrastructure; develop documentation, standards, and training; evaluate and optimize existing PAM environment; participate in disaster recovery and capacity planning; ensure alignment with security policies and regulatory standards; stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies. Requirements: BS degree or equivalent experience; 8+ years in technology, with 4-6+ years in identity/access management; 3+ years with CyberArk and Privileged Cloud; practical experience with DevOps, Agile, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred); proficiency in security frameworks and scripting (PowerShell). Preferred: knowledge of virtualization, REST APIs, GxP/regulatory environments; certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CyberArk certs; familiarity with GxP, security risks, and risk mitigation.
