Role: Lead the peptide chemistry and API development function, defining scientific strategy and standards from early development through commercialization. Responsibilities: oversee peptide synthesis, process optimization, scale-up, technology transfer, and manufacturing readiness; develop control strategies, manage technical risk assessments, and resolve complex process challenges; provide scientific leadership for regulatory documentation; build partnerships with CDMOs; mentor teams across functions including analytical development, regulatory, and manufacturing; and represent the organization externally. Requirements: PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, or related field with 6+ years (or MS/BA with 8+ years, BS/BA with 10+ years) of relevant industry experience; deep expertise in peptide synthesis (SPPS, LPPS), process development, scale-up, and GMP manufacturing; strong understanding of peptide impurities, degradation pathways, and regulatory requirements; experience overseeing GMP manufacturing at external sites; excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
