Role: Senior Principal Scientist leading analytical strategies within Vaccines Research and Development, focusing on early-phase vaccine candidates and adjuvants across modalities like proteins, mRNAs, and conjugates. Responsibilities: define and oversee analytical control strategies, manage and mentor a team of scientists, develop and qualify physicochemical analytical methods (e.g., mass spectrometry, separation techniques), resolve complex technical challenges, and lead innovation in analytical technologies, including digital tools and AI. Serve as a scientific leader on cross-functional teams, communicate risks and data insights, and contribute to regulatory documentation. Qualifications: PhD in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or related field with 8+ years of experience in biologics or vaccine analysis, expertise in separation-based techniques, method development, and lifecycle management, with strong leadership and communication skills. Preferred: knowledge of protein/mRNA/adjuvant quality attributes, experience with regulatory submissions, and implementing automation or digital workflows. High-Value: biologics and vaccine modalities, early-stage development, physicochemical and spectroscopic methods, cross-functional leadership, with on-premise work setup.
