Senior Principal Real World Analyst (RWA)-2

Senior Principal Real-World Analyst (RWA) – conduct Real-World Evidence (RWE) analyses and analytic projects using Real-World Data (RWD) sources including administrative claims, electronic medical records (EMR), and registry data.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct and audit RWE analyses using RWD from multiple sources
- Collaborate with the RWA lead and team members to meet study and recurring report timelines
- Apply advanced statistical and epidemiological methodologies for robust, reliable results
- Clean and validate RWD and outputs for consistency and reliability
- Maintain documentation of analytical programming code and operational definitions for reproducible, auditable studies/projects
- Develop reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate complex data insights
- Support designing and enforcing RWA standards to improve operational efficiency and accuracy
- Stay current with evolving RWA methodologies and data visualization best practices

Qualifications / Required skills:
- MS or PhD in data science, epidemiology, statistics, public health, or related discipline
- 4+ years (MS) or 2+ years (PhD) experience in biopharma, RWE consulting, or relevant healthcare industries
- Extensive hands-on experience with Flatiron and Optum data (minimum 2 years)
- Expert proficiency in SQL and R; Python knowledge is an advantage
- Familiarity with healthcare coding systems (ICD, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, MedDRA) and delivery/reimbursement models
- Experience with routine and advanced statistical analyses for RWE (time-to-event, cross-sectional, longitudinal)
- Experience with big data platforms (e.g., Snowflake); PowerBI knowledge is an advantage
