Responsibilities include providing automation support across site operations and capital projects, leading process control design, configuration, and validation; mentoring automation teams; and ensuring GMP compliance. Key tasks involve managing DCS software, laboratory analytical systems integration, and supporting GMP startup activities (2025-2029). Requirements: B.S. in Engineering or Science, 8+ years in biopharma automation, experience with laboratory and analytical systems (e.g., UHPLC, mass spectrometry, bioreactors), and familiarity with automation platforms like DeltaV, Rockwell, LIMS, and MES. Preferred skills include designing, commissioning, and qualifying automated manufacturing facilities, facilitating decision-making at organizational levels, and experience with regulated environments.
