Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Platform Management: Design, support, and continuously enhance Vertex’s enterprise data and AI platform to enable scalable and efficient AI adoption.
- Design and Build: Build and maintain production-grade AI starter kits.
- Reference Implementations: Deliver end-to-end reference implementations for AI workloads.
- Delivery Management: Partner with platform engineering, governance, and product teams to accelerate AI development and adoption.
- Solution Packaging: Package solutions as templated tooling and opinionated defaults aligned with enterprise standards.
- Team Enablement: Provide reusable architecture patterns, starter kits, and developer-first abstractions.
- Technology Champion: Advocate for cloud-first approaches to data and AI platform development.
- Innovation Champion: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve the platform.
- Enablement Champion: Lead scalable enablement programs across the Vertex Data Platform.
Knowledge And Skills
- Hands-on AI expertise (GenAI, LLM, Agentic AI, Dev/DataOps, or MLOps) and enterprise software development tools/methodologies; Snowflake or Databricks required.
- Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience managing creation/grooming of epics and themes for roadmaps.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cross-functional projects.
- Collaborative stakeholder engagement; mentorship/support.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
Education And Experience
- 10+ years data/advanced analytics; 5+ years developing cloud-based data products; strong AI/ML & GenAI experience.
- 5+ years delivering in agile environments.
- Bachelor’s in CS/Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
Pay Range
- $188,000 - $282,000
