Job Description
Conceive, execute and communicate multi-disciplinary modeling and simulations exercises to support development plans and strategies to achieve commercial goals and regulatory requirements for multiple functions. Generate new PK/PD modeling and simulation proposals and lead those efforts. Investigate, identify, develop, and optimize new methods and techniques in PK/PD modeling and statistical data analysis. Leads Pharmacometric and PK/PD modeling aspects of multiple projects and critically evaluates technical and scientific aspects with Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics management.

Responsibilities
- Execute strategy; lead teams; perform data analyses and interpretation with context (MoA/disease specifics, internal/external data, analysis plans, and interpretation/discussion of model results).
- Assist Clinical Pharmacology senior management in selecting action plans that best meet business needs in drug development.
- Author regulatory documents (PK/PD analysis plans, study reports, population PK, exposure-response analyses, CTDs, label, white papers, and similar).
- Represent Pharmacometrics on Clinical Pharmacology and clinical project teams; present to teams and leadership.
- Collaborate with Clinical Pharmacology TA leads to develop a unified Clinical Pharmacology position.
- Author scientific publications; present at national/international conferences; interact with external stakeholders.
- Participate in internal/external initiatives and working groups (e.g., process harmonization, IMI calls, ISoP groups).

Qualifications
- PhD (typically 3+ years), or Master’s (9+ years), or Bachelor’s (13+ years) in a relevant field (data science, mathematics, biostatistics, modeling and simulation, Pharmacometrics or systems pharmacology).
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact with functional representatives internally.
- Strategic thinking and enterprise view; proven scientific track record and technical skills.
- Leadership competencies: deliver business results and position for long-term success; persistent/resilient; acts respectfully yet courageously; generates original ideas; influences cross-functional alignment; accountable delegation.
