The Position:
- Support operations and execution of affordability programs across Diabetes, Obesity, and Rare Disease portfolios.
- Establish and monitor program operations and related forecasts; drive operational excellence via enablement, financial oversight, cross-functional coordination, and process improvement.
Essential Functions:
- Partner with vendors; oversee development of program business rules and operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate program setup and tracking.
- Oversee tracking/reporting against program budgets across multiple brands.
- Compile/process pharmacy redemptions for Senior Management approval.
- Oversee vendor performance via status meetings, monthly reporting, and calibration calls.
- Lead development and implementation to ensure seamless patient experience across channels.
- Educate internal stakeholders; provide input to Sales resources (e.g., FAQs).
- Respond to patient and HCP escalated issues/complaints through customer-facing channels.
- Manage key vendor relationships; lead contract negotiation and renewal.
- Monitor/vendor billing, payments, and budgets; assist with vendor questions.
- Support day-to-day copay/eVoucher operations.
- Support patient insights with vendor data requests; manage vendor training for compliance.
- Develop/maintain enablement materials (SOPs, playbooks, operational guidance); own budgeting/prefunding/invoicing/financial tracking.
- Partner with Finance for forecasting, reconciliation, and governance; support audit readiness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent.
- 8+ years in pharmaceutical commercial operations/patient support/program or project management.
- 2+ years supporting patient affordability or offer programs.
- Strong analytical/quantitative skills; experience in financial oversight, budgeting, and vendor management preferred.
- Operational enablement and process improvement; detail-oriented execution.
- Ability to lead complex initiatives in a matrixed environment; influence without authority.
- Proactive problem-solving; strong planning/prioritization.
- Excellent written/verbal communication.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
