Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and prosecute patent applications
- Advise business on patent and regulatory exclusivity strategy
- Review, draft, and advise IP-related contracts
- Partner with litigation department on patent-related litigations and disputes
- Conduct third-party and reverse patent due diligence
- Educate stakeholders on IP-related topics

Qualifications:
- J.D. or LL.M. with good standing with the bar of one state or DC (required); USPTO admission required
- Degree in molecular biology or related field (graduate MS/PhD preferred)
- 5+ years drafting and prosecuting biologics (large molecule pharmaceuticals) patent applications
- Advantage: patent due diligence/disputes, non-infringement opinions, regulatory exclusivity strategy, or patent license drafting/counseling
- Advantage: IP support for data/software, siRNA, small molecules, or drug/device combinations
