Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and prosecute patent applications.
- Advise business on patent and regulatory exclusivity strategy.
- Review, draft, and advise on IP-related contracts.
- Partner with litigation on patent-related litigations and disputes.
- Conduct third-party and reverse patent due diligence.
- Educate stakeholders on IP-related topics.

- J.D. or LL.M. with admission and good standing with the bar of one state or DC; USPTO admission required.
- Degree in molecular biology or related field (MS/PhD preferred).
- 5+ years drafting/prosecuting biologics patent applications at a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Advantage: patent due diligence, patent disputes, non-infringement opinions, regulatory exclusivity strategy, patent license drafting/counseling; IP support for data/software innovations, siRNA, small molecules, or drug/device combinations.
