Senior or Principal Scientist, Formulation and Process Development

Role: Senior/Principal Scientist in Formulation and Process Development, supporting Celcuity’s drug product lifecycle management. Responsibilities: lead formulation and process development projects for novel and existing drug formulations, including pre-formulation, dosage form selection, scale-up, and collaboration with contract labs and CDMOs; contribute to IP and regulatory filings; stay current with formulation innovations; and serve as a subject matter expert. Requirements: Ph.D./M.S./B.S. in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, or related field; 7+ years industry experience (4+ for Ph.D., 5+ for M.S., 7+ for B.S.); expertise in formulation strategies for small molecules, especially poorly water-soluble APIs, with knowledge of techniques such as nano-milling, emulsions, salt formation, lyophilization; strong physicochemical characterization skills; prior experience supporting preclinical studies; excellent communication and organizational skills.
