Senior Oncology Specialist

What You Will Do
- Serve as the primary customer contact; provide current, comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals.
- Communicate clinical and economic benefits of products.
- Achieve territory sales by:
- Creating and executing a comprehensive territory plan (branded sales messages, planned programs, medical educational program scheduling/follow-up, and sales targets).
- Servicing and managing accounts (ensuring product access, resolving/triaging reimbursement issues, maintaining product contracts).
- Crafting an effective marketing strategy to drive sales.
- Analyzing sales activity/territory analysis and developing territory plans with the District Manager.
- Sustaining passion for products throughout the sales cycle while building the brand and serving patients.
- Sharing best practices and engaging in continuous learning.
- Leveraging oncology/disease-state awareness plus industry, regulatory, and competitive changes to deliver results.

What We Expect Of You (Qualifications)
- Bachelorโ€™s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field (not sales-related)
OR
- Associate degree and 6 years of sales and/or clinical experience (not sales-related)
OR
- High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales and/or clinical experience (not sales-related)

Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred experience in Oncology.
- 3+ years sales and/or marketing experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare/medical device.
- Product or hospital sales experience in oncology and related specialties (e.g., nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation; neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases).
- Local market knowledge.
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
- Adaptability with core competencies: Planning/Organizing; leveraging business/industry/technical knowledge; communicating with impact; driving for results; cultivating internal/external relationships.

Compensation/Benefits
- Expected annual salary range (U.S., excluding Puerto Rico): $140,465โ€“$190,041. Includes eligibility-based Total Rewards plan (e.g., medical/dental/vision, retirement savings with company contributions, bonus/incentives for field sales reps, stock-based long-term incentives, time-off, and flexible work models where possible).
