Senior Oncology Specialist

What You Will Do / Responsibilities
- Act as primary customer liaison; provide current/comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals.
- Communicate clinical and economic benefits to medical professionals.
- Achieve territory sales by:
- Creating/executing a comprehensive territory plan (branded sales messages, planned programs, scheduling/follow-up on medical educational programs, and meeting/exceeding sales targets).
- Servicing/managing accounts (product access, resolving/triaging reimbursement issues, maintaining product contracts).
- Crafting effective marketing strategy to drive sales.
- Analyzing business effectiveness and territory analysis; developing territory plans with your District Manager.
- Sustaining product passion through the sales cycle while building brand and focusing on serving patients.
- Sharing best practices and engaging in continuous learning.
- Applying oncology/disease-state awareness and monitoring industry/regulatory/competitive changes to deliver results.

What We Expect Of You / Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of sales and/or non-sales-related clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field, OR
- Associate degree + 6 years of sales and/or non-sales-related clinical experience, OR
- High school diploma/GED + 8 years of sales and/or non-sales-related clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology experience.
- 3+ years sales/marketing in pharma/biotech/healthcare/medical devices.
- Product or hospital sales experience in oncology and/or related specialties; local market knowledge.
- Bachelor’s in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
- Strength in core competencies (planning/organizing, business/technical knowledge, impactful communication, results, internal/external relationships).

Compensation / Benefits (as stated)
- Expected annual salary range (U.S., excluding Puerto Rico): $158,727–$177,179.
