Senior Oncology Specialist

What You Will Do
- Serve as the primary customer contact, providing current/comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen products and communicating clinical and economic benefits to medical professionals.
- Achieve territory sales by using Oncology background to:
- Create and execute a comprehensive territory plan (branded sales messages; planned programs; schedule/follow up on medical educational programs; meet/exceed sales targets).
- Service/manage accounts (ensure product access; resolve/triage reimbursement issues; maintain product contracts).
- Craft an effective marketing strategy to drive sales.
- Analyze business effectiveness and territory analysis; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle while building the brand and focusing on serving patients.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and pursue continuous learning.
- Apply Oncology and disease-state awareness, and monitor industry/regulatory/competitive changes to deliver agreed results.

What We Expect Of You (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of sales and/or non-sales-related clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field; OR
- Associate degree with 6 years of sales and/or non-sales-related clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field; OR
- High school diploma/GED with 8 years of sales and/or non-sales-related clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field.

Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology experience.
- 3+ years sales/marketing experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare/medical devices.
- Product or hospital sales experience in oncology and related specialties (nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology/inflammation, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases).
- Local market knowledge.
- Bachelor’s in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
- Adaptability with core competencies: Planning/Organizing; Leveraging business/industry/technical knowledge; Communicating with impact; Driving for results; Cultivating internal/external relationships.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Expected annual salary range: $140,465 to $190,041 (U.S., excluding Puerto Rico).
- Total Rewards Plan (eligibility-based): health/welfare, retirement/savings, bonus/incentives, stock-based long-term incentives, time-off, and flexible work models (remote/hybrid where possible).
