Senior Oncology Account Specialist Prostate Cancer Upper Manhattan

Responsibilities:
- Promote Pfizer’s oncology product portfolio to healthcare providers and specialists.
- Educate healthcare community on appropriate use of Pfizer products.
- Call on accounts/organized customers to improve patient experience and overall quality of patient care.
- Increase Pfizer’s brand with high-value target customers by assessing account/business landscape and aligning Pfizer products/resources.
Qualifications (Basic):
- BA/BS from an accredited institution OR associate’s degree with 8+ years’ experience OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years’ relevant experience.
- Domestic travel and ability to stay overnight as necessary.
- Valid US driver’s license; DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifies.
- 4+ years pharmaceutical sales OR 4+ years oncology HCP experience with key oncology thought leaders/high-influence customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care.
- Demonstrated track record of success.
- Ability to learn and communicate technical/scientific disease-management information.
- High business acumen.
- Proficiency with complex digital applications and ability to use Pfizer’s technology model.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- 3–5 years oncology sales.
- Prostate cancer therapeutic area experience.
- Master’s degree; advanced HCP degree.
- Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.
Functional/Technical Skills:
- Promote broad portfolio; strong knowledge of disease states/therapeutic areas/products.
- Generate demand in assigned accounts; strategic territory/account/customer planning.
- Maintain institutional relationships; access difficult-to-see providers.
- Cultivate KOL relationships; assess needs and address with appropriate resources; strong selling/relationship-building/communication.
- Adapt quickly in a changing environment; work in a matrix and leverage resources.
Benefits/Compensation (as stated):
- Annual base salary range: $108,600–$250,700; additional sales incentive bonus.
