Senior Oncology Account Specialist (SOAS)

Responsibilities:
- Promote Pfizer’s oncology product portfolio to healthcare providers and specialists.
- Educate healthcare community on appropriate use of Pfizer products.
- Call on assigned accounts and organized customers to improve patients’ experience and overall quality of patient care.
- Increase Pfizer’s brand with high-value target customers by assessing account/business landscape and applying knowledge of Pfizer products/resources.
- Promote a broad product portfolio; build demand in assigned accounts.
- Conduct strategic account selling and develop territory/account/customer plans.
- Maintain and grow relationships across institutions; cultivate KOL relationships.
- Assess needs of target physicians/accounts and address with responsive approaches, targeted skills, and appropriate resources.

Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS (accredited) OR associate’s degree + 8+ years experience OR high school diploma + 10+ years relevant experience.
- Domestic travel with overnight stays as needed.
- Valid US driver’s license; compliant driving record (DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifies).
- Minimum 4 years pharmaceutical sales OR minimum 4 years oncology HCP experience with thought leaders/high-influence customers (hospitals, large group practices, managed care).
- Demonstrated track record of success.
- Ability to learn and communicate technical/scientific disease management information.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Proficiency with complex digital applications/technology adaptation.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3–5 years oncology sales.
- Master’s degree; Advanced HCP degree.
- Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.

Compensation (as stated): Base salary range $108,600–$250,700; overtime status during initial training (non-exempt then exempt after certification).
