Senior Oncology Account Specialist (SOAS)
Responsibilities:
- Promote Pfizer’s product portfolio to health care providers and specialists.
- Educate the healthcare community on appropriate use of Pfizer products.
- Call on accounts and organized customers to improve patient experience and overall quality of patient care.
- Increase Pfizer’s brand with high-value target customers by assessing account/business landscape and applying knowledge of Pfizer products/resources.
Qualifications (Basic):
- BA/BS (accredited) OR associate’s degree + 8+ years experience OR high school diploma/equivalent + 10+ years relevant experience.
- Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary.
- Valid US driver’s license; DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation in past 7 years disqualifies.
- Minimum 4 years pharmaceutical sales OR 4 years Oncology HCP experience with oncology thought leaders/high-influence customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care.
- Demonstrated track record of success.
- Ability to communicate technical/scientific product and disease management information.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Proficiency with complex digital applications and ability to adapt to Pfizer technology model.
Preferred:
- 3–5 years Oncology sales.
- Prostate Cancer therapeutic area experience.
- Master’s degree / Advanced HCP degree.
- Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Base salary range: $108,600–$250,700; training classified non-exempt (overtime eligible) then overtime exempt; additional sales incentive bonus.
