Senior Oncology Account Specialist (SOAS)
Role Responsibilities:
- Promote Pfizer’s oncology product portfolio to healthcare providers and specialists.
- Educate healthcare community on appropriate use of Pfizer products.
- Call on accounts/organized customers to improve patients’ experience and overall quality of patient care.
- Increase Pfizer’s brand with high-value target customers by assessing the account/business landscape and leveraging Pfizer products/resources.
- Promote product portfolio; generate demand in assigned accounts.
- Develop and execute territory/account/customer plans; maintain institution relationships.
- Overcome barriers to access providers; cultivate relationships with KOLs and top-priority customers.
- Assess physicians/accounts’ needs and address with responsive approaches and appropriate resources.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from accredited institution OR associate’s degree with 8+ years’ experience OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years’ relevant experience.
- Domestic travel with overnight stays as needed.
- Valid US driver’s license and compliant driving record (DUI/DWI/impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifies).
- 4+ years pharmaceutical sales OR 4+ years oncology HCP experience with thought leaders/high-influence customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care.
- Demonstrated success in pharma sales or HCP experience.
- Ability to communicate technical/scientific disease and product information.
- Business acumen.
- Proficiency with complex digital applications/ability to adapt to technology model.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3–5 years oncology sales; hematology experience.
- Master’s degree; advanced HCP degree.
- Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and key opinion leaders.
