Senior Oncology Account Specialist Genitourinary Baltimore, MD

Responsibilities:
- Promote Pfizer’s oncology product portfolio to health care providers and specialists.
- Educate members of the healthcare community on appropriate use of Pfizer products.
- Call on accounts and organized customers to help improve patients’ experience with Pfizer products and overall quality of patient care.
- Increase Pfizer’s brand with high-value target customers by assessing the account/business landscape and aligning it with Pfizer products and resources.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution OR associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary.
- Valid US driver’s license and compliant driving record; DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years disqualifies you from being hired.
- Minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical sales experience OR 4 years of oncology HCP experience with key oncology thought leaders/high-influence customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care organizations.
- Demonstrated track record of success with pharmaceutical sales or HCP experience.
- Ability to learn and communicate technical/scientific product and disease management information to a wide range of customers.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Proficiency with complex digital applications and ability to adapt to Pfizer’s technology model.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of oncology sales experience.
- Master’s degree.
- Bladder Cancer (GU) therapeutic experience.
- Advanced HCP degree.
- Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.
Functional/Technical Skills can include:
- Promote a broad product portfolio; strong knowledge of disease states/therapeutic areas/products.
- Deep knowledge of target customers and markets.
- Generate demand in assigned accounts.
- Strategic account selling/management; develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans.
- Maintain institution-wide relationships; overcome obstacles to access hard-to-reach providers.
- Cultivate KOL relationships and build lasting relationships with top-priority customers.
- Assess physician/account needs and respond with appropriate skills/resources.
- Engage, influence, and support customers throughout the selling process; strong communication/interpersonal/leadership skills.
- Quickly learn and embrace new ways of working in a rapidly changing environment; work effectively in a matrix environment.
Benefits/Compensation (as stated):
- Additional Sales Incentive bonus.
- Base salary range: $108,600–$250,700.
