Role Summary

The Senior Oncology Account Manager promotes Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ products and builds and manages relationships with therapeutic specialists within an assigned geographic territory. The role is part of the commercial team and will implement marketing strategies and tactics to achieve short- and long-term sales objectives. The position reports to the Regional Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ adult oncology products to physicians and other healthcare providers within the designated area, including community and academic centers.
  • Develop and manage strategic accounts and business relationships with therapeutic specialists in the territory; identify stakeholders and understand their needs, priorities and patient impact.
  • Define clear, measurable objectives and develop tailored strategies and tactics to address each customer’s needs; determine resources required and adjust plans based on activities and market conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, medical affairs, market access) to align and execute account strategies and ensure customer needs are met.
  • Use analytics and omnichannel tools, dashboards, reports, and CRM to inform decisions, track sales activities, and maintain territory records; provide timely feedback on market trends and opportunities.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings; represent the company at live and virtual conferences and educational events; maintain a professional image and comply with regulations.
  • Manage special projects as assigned and ensure activities are conducted within budget and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Required: Experience in oncology
  • Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with effective presentation style, in both face-to-face and virtual formats

  • Frequent travel between meeting sites; ability to meet travel requirements
