Role Summary

Senior Microsoft Engineer responsible for shaping and managing Crinetics' core Microsoft and Azure platforms, providing senior-level engineering expertise to design, implement, and manage robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions.

The role requires deep knowledge of Azure infrastructure, modern DevOps practices, and experience with AI and security services to support a growing Microsoft online and Azure environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level solutions on Microsoft Azure and M365 platforms.
  • Develop and maintain the SharePoint environment and integrations.
  • Deploy and manage core Azure services, including networking, compute, storage, and security.
  • Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 online services, integrating solutions using Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio to enhance productivity and workflows.
  • Manage and optimize SharePoint environments, delivering solutions, migrations, and integrations with Microsoft 365.
  • Utilize Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM).
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
  • Develop and maintain IaC scripts and templates using Bicep and Terraform to automate deployment and management.
  • Partner with IT Security to ensure solutions meet security and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and collaborate across technical and business teams; provide technical guidance to team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; 8+ years IT experience, with 5+ years focused on Azure.
  • Proven experience as a senior-level Azure Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar role.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 online services, including administration, security, and compliance.
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview for discovery and data classification.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure infrastructure (networking, virtual machines, storage), and strong experience with Azure integrations and App Services.
  • Solid background in DevOps, CI/CD, and modern development methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and/or Terraform.
  • Experience designing, configuring, and using IaaS services (e.g., VM, Azure Kubernetes Service, networking, storage); experience in Azure DevOps; ability to troubleshoot complex deployment scenarios.
  • Project management experience; practical understanding of Agile; strong written and verbal communication skills.
