Senior Medical Scientist Liaison (MSL)- South Texas

Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) within Gilead's Breast oncology team, focusing on disseminating clinical information and building relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers in South Texas. Responsibilities: respond to clinical inquiries, develop and present complex scientific data, identify and train regional/national opinion leaders, support Phase IV clinical trials, and collaborate across functions including Sales, Clinical Research, and Medical Communications. Requirements: advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, NP/PA) with at least 5 years of clinical practice experience; strong presentation skills; experience with clinical trials and patient contact; ability to work independently and collaboratively. Preferred: therapeutic area expertise in oncology, particularly breast cancer, and prior industry experience. High-Value: focus on oncology (breast cancer), clinical and real-world evidence, Phase IV studies, cross-functional stakeholder engagement, and frequent travel within South Texas. Work setup involves significant travel, with a field-based role supporting Gilead’s oncology portfolio.
