Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scientific and medical knowledge in assigned therapeutic area(s)/disease state(s) related to AQST products.
- Identify, develop, and effectively manage KOL relationships in support of company objectives.
- Accurately and compliantly interpret and disseminate balanced, factual scientific, clinical, and health economic data.
- Identify, cultivate, and integrate KOL contributions and insights into AQST therapeutic areas of interest and programs; identify opportunities for growth and medical contributions.
- Gather and evaluate new information as it applies to AQST products and therapeutic interests.
- Deliver on project support according to established objectives.
- Provide support for unsolicited requests for medical information.
- Support key initiatives including continuing medical education (CME) and investigator-initiated research.
- Manage a defined geographic territory and relationships with priority KOLs across academic and community settings.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral level degree in a medical and/or scientific field required (PharmD, PhD, MD/DO, DNP, or equivalent).
- Relevant degree in medical/scientific field with strong related experience may be considered.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a relevant pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry role or healthcare.
- Allergy/immunology experience highly desired; pediatric experience helpful.
- Ability to travel ~60% of the time, including overnights and weekends as necessary.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proven relationship-building ability.
- Character traits that promote respect, credibility, and trust in all interactions.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, work effectively, and operate independently in a dynamic field-based environment.
- Strong presentation and writing skills; results-oriented and self-motivated.
