Role Summary
Senior Medical Science Liaisons/ Medical Science Liaisons (MSL) - Cardiovascular role for Mineralys Therapeutics. Fully remote company with field-based MSLs focusing on establishing and maintaining relationships with KOLs and HCPs within assigned territory, supporting the US Medical Affairs team in cardiovascular disease. Requires a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry and prior MSL/MSL-like experience.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals within assigned region
- Primary point of contact for field medical and scientific inquiries
- Serve as subject matter expert at medical conferences, advisory boards, roundtables, clinical investigator meetings, speaker training, and internal meetings
- Lead and/or participate in project teams that support MSL strategies and tactics
- Identify and engage with healthcare stakeholders to educate and communicate clinical, scientific, and economic data to providers
- Deliver scientific presentations and training to diverse HCP audiences, communicating complex information effectively
- Serve as a strategic partner with internal cross-functional teams
- Support clinical trial site activities as needed and advocate for opportunities in investigator-sponsored research
- Support continuing medical education (CME) requests and activities through unsolicited grants
- Support field medical congress activities and attend meetings to gather competitive intelligence and develop collaborations
- Gather, analyze, and communicate actionable insights from the field to inform company strategy and patient management trends
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to share field insights with Medical Affairs, R&D, Commercial, and other stakeholders
- Ensure policies and regulatory guidance are adhered to in all activities
- Contribute to medical affairs metrics, reports, and SOPs; document field activities per company policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. (other doctoral degrees considered)
- Senior MSL: 5+ years of current MSL experience; MSL in Scientific/Medical Affairs: 3βΓΓ¬5 years in biotech/pharma
- Cardiology/Renal/Metabolic experience preferred
- 5+ years focused on clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research a plus
- Experience in medically related fields (post-doctoral training acceptable)
- Experience with KOL development, HCP engagement, and drug launches
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, delivering scientific insights, and achieving outcomes aligned with goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication and peer-to-peer collaboration

- Must be located within driving distance of a major international airport; approx. 50 - 70% travel
- Valid US driverβΓΓ΄s license; ability to travel without restrictions
