Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Rheumatology within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicines. Objectives include serving as a scientific expert, building relationships with healthcare professionals and KOLs, and supporting medical strategies through evidence-based scientific exchange. Responsibilities encompass developing territory engagement plans aligned with Medical Affairs strategies, engaging in high-quality scientific dialogue, identifying educational needs, and supporting investigator-initiated studies. The role requires providing objective, balanced information on current and future J&J products, and staying abreast of scientific trends in immunology and rheumatology. Collaboration involves internal teams across R&D, Medical Affairs, and Clinical Operations, as well as external healthcare stakeholders. The position demands supporting compliance, fostering inclusion, and maintaining scientific acumen through ongoing education. Qualifications include a Doctorate (PharmD, MD, PhD) with at least 2+ years of relevant experience as an MSL, preferably with therapeutic expertise in immunology or rheumatology, and knowledge of clinical research and pharma regulations. The role supports in-person and remote engagement, with up to 70% travel within the Pacific Northwest territory, including Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, and North Dakota. Preferred candidates may have residency in major metro areas like Spokane, Boise, or Portland, and familiarity with digital tools and emerging technologies like AI.
