Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Rheumatology, based in the Pacific Northwest (Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, Northern California). Objectives: serve as a scientific expert on Johnson & Johnson's immunology products, developing key relationships with healthcare professionals and KOLs to support medical and educational initiatives. Responsibilities: implement territory-specific scientific engagement plans; facilitate high-quality scientific exchanges; identify unmet needs and educational gaps; support investigator-initiated studies; provide objective, balanced scientific information; and collect actionable insights to inform medical strategies. Qualifications: Doctorate degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, etc.) with at least 2 years of relevant experience including prior success as an MSL; strong therapeutic expertise in immunology or related fields; proven ability to build professional relationships and communicate scientific data effectively; willingness to travel up to 70%. Preferred: residency or fellowship training; familiarity with AI tools; clinical or pharma experience; residence in major metro areas like Spokane, Boise, or Portland. High-Value: focus on immunological disorders, biologics or advanced therapies, with emphasis on scientific exchange, investigator support, and strategic territory management. Work setup: territory-based role requiring extensive in-person engagement and internal collaboration across Medical Affairs, R&D, and external healthcare stakeholders.
